LTD Product Tips - Half Hexa Tarp?

"Well the Hexa has been a brilliant bit of kit, that's changed how many people camp.. super small and light, but throws massive shade, very easy to put up (if you know how : ) , and can be done by one person.. try doing that with a 6 x 4 m blue tarp : ) and it can stand with only two poles.

I got a Full Hexa and cut it in half, thinking it might be handy, and soon as I strung it up, realised I was onto something : )

It's a super small parcel, almost the size of a jacket or jumper rolled up.. includes one x 2.4 pole, but you can easily string it between two trees, or one tree and one pole : ) if you need an extra 2.4 pole, our 4 stage 2.4 is the go... I carry the half med hexa in my truck now, always there if I might need, some extra shade, a windbreak, someone else joins our camp and needs an awning, there is so many ways to use it..

As shade, or a windbreak, a small tarp that can do both : ) one day camping on the lake in Forster, we had a full on north easter blowing into camp, and we had no protection.. I strung the half hexa between two trees, with some paracord, and pegged the tarp down to the ground.. it lays down like a wave sort of, so the wind doesn't beat up against it, like a flat wall would, but blows up over it.. works a treat ! privacy, or wind protection, is a super easy and effective way of using this little half hexa.

In our canvas room we can also sew ketter strip to the long edge of the tarp and then it can be used with aluminium sail track, that can be fixed to the back of a caravan, or the top edge of a rtt, anywhere you like.. maybe even at home to create extra shade .. you can buy the black sailtrack from aluminium suppliers. Because the ketter strip is quite thick

The half hexa now doesn't want to fit in the bag nicely, so we've made at drifta a replacement bag for this, if you're like me and want everything to fit just perfect into bags : )

Upgrades to go with the half hexa...

One x 4 stage pole that folds down to 800 mm (the most useful tent pole on the market)
Five x 30 cm Stockton Stakes(if you want it to freestand grab two pegs for each end and one in the middle)
Three x 40 cm orange sand stakes are great. If you find yourself on hard sand, or soft earth, these can be invaluable.
All these extras can fit into our stockton medium tote bag..

There’s some tips, on the Drifta Stockton Half Hexa..” : ) LTD
