We are making our own windshields now, and also for the new two burner butane stove. These stoves are great, and convenient, but without a windshield, even with a slight breeze, the heat is blown away, making them inefficient. A billy will boil generally twice as quick with a windshield, saving a lot of gas. Because the gas cans are only small , this is important.
The windshields fold very flat, (won’t fit inside the case), and are carefully made by our boys in our DOT (Drifta Offroad Tourer) factory.. it’s made from 0.6 mm Australian galvanised sheet steel, with a 12 mm continuous hinge spot welded to form the join… we’ll always have these in stock, and are available on our new online checkout.
